Rediscover Stockton

Refocus Arts Trail

Join us for the Refocus Arts Trail a group of temporary artworks hidden in unusual corners of Stockton Town Centre.

As part of a project to celebrate the one year anniversary of Refocus: The Castlegate mima Photography Prize, a group of North East based artists and photographers were selected to create artworks specifically for locations around Stockton Town Centre and Tunnel Gallery in Middlesbrough. Taking inspiration from the environment, heritage and landscapes, the artists have produced a variety of works exploring the impact of contemporary visual arts in public spaces.

Forgotten spaces are transformed, taking contemporary art out of the gallery and onto the streets. The trail will be in place until the end of 2014 so don’t miss your chance to see them!
